Welcome to my first blog post!
As we are living in a world that keeps modernizing by day, education is a critical factor that builds up the next generations to follow up the current achievements. Also, books are the unlimited resources that contribute to the success of education.
In late July of 2020, the organization was founded with the appearance of me and my friends who were gathered from the honored universities in Ho Chi Minh City and overseas students from colleges in America. Friends To Town pursuits a mission to bring the greatest books to the poor-backgrounded children in the western towns of Vietnam. The first project ran in summer 2020.
Introduction
Friends To Town (F2T) is proud to be one of the first non-profit organizations that target "education charity." F2T accompanies the donors and the middle schools in the Western towns to support the books, create motivation, and love the reading book for the poor-backgrounded children. Through, F2T would like to transmit the inspiration, broaden the reading topics in order to diversify knowledge and awareness of the pupils besides the fundamental knowledge had learned at school.
"Books for Future" project 2020
Immediately establishment of the organization, Friends To Town received a lot of supports from the local government and Hiep Duc middle school's board of administration to run the project "Books for Future." After 3 months of researching, collecting data related to the reading habits of the students as well as inspecting the school's library, our organization recognized that Hiep Duc middle school was in shortage of both textbooks and reading books. Aware of the struggle that Hiep Duc school was opposing, "Friends To Town" scheduled the meetings with the school's board of administration and provided the project proposal for the donors then start fundraising. The total amount of books was collected from the donors who are high school students. college students and outsourcing were approximately 1,000 book titles. SFC cooperation (Vietnam) is a gold sponsor for our organization to keep moving forward on our project. Also, it is truly an honor for Friends To Town to successfully invited Thanhnien newspaper (Vietnam) to be our guide throughout the project.

Since Friends To Town believes that the book is the most precious treasure that nothing else could compare to. Therefore, we are honored to be a non-profit organization that does charity through education not only today but for the future.
